A Vale confirmou nesta sexta-feira (19) o pagamento de R$ 5,8 bilhões em impostos à Receita Federal, referentes ação judicial que a empresa perdeu para o órgão. O imposto devido foi a Contribuição Social sobre o lucro líquido, e parte do entendimento do Supremo Tribunal Federal de que as empresas deveriam pagar o tributo sobre o lucro líquido proveniente de suas exportações. Segundo a assessoria de imprensa da mineradora, o montante já havia sido reservado anteriormente, e inclusive fora mencionado em seu balanço divulgado no último dia 29.

A Fundação Sousândrade de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento da UFMA divulgou o resultado final do concurso público da Prefeitura de São José de Ribamar. Um total de 400 vagas, para cargos de nível superior, nível médio e nível fundamental, foram disponibilizadas pela administração do prefeito Gil Cutrim (PMDB). A lista completa com os nomes dos aprovados pode ser conferida na página eletrônica da Prefeitura (www.saojosederibamar.ma.gov.br) e no site da Sousândrade (www.fsadu.org.br), responsável pela realização do certame. Na lista constam os nomes dos candidatos que obtiveram maior pontuação e, conseqüentemente, estão dentro do número de vagas oferecidas para cada cargo, além dos nomes dos excedentes. O processo de convocação dos aprovados será feito pela Prefeitura ao longo dos próximos meses. Como o concurso público tem validade de dois anos, os candidatos excedentes poderão ser chamados mediante desistência dos aprovados melhor pontuados e também de acordo com a necessidade da administração municipal.
