A crise que envolve o Ministério dos Transportes deve dar uma pausa esta semana para o alívio do governo e do PR, apesar do requerimento apresentado pela oposição tentando convocar o ex-assessor do Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (Dnit) Frederico Augusto de Oliveira durante o recesso. As intenções dos oposicionistas esbarram no fato de que somente o presidente do Senado, José Sarney (PMDB-AP), pode convocar a Comissão Representativa do Congresso para trabalhar durante as férias dos parlamentares. O peemedebista já avisou a integrantes do colegiado que vai estar em Brasília esta semana, mas que não pretende decidir sobre requerimentos que envolvam convocações, deixando o desfecho da crise nas mãos dos próprios parlamentares na volta do recesso.
A avaliação de membros da Comissão Representativa é de que a proximidade do retorno dos trabalhos legislativos, na próxima segunda-feira, não justificaria a convocação do grupo às pressas durante esta semana. Além disso, avaliam que qualquer movimento de reação aos requerimentos apresentados pelo PSDB só daria fôlego e espaço para a oposição. Sarney sabe disso e, como aliado palaciano, deve fazer uma passagem discreta pelo Congresso a partir de amanhã sem, no entanto, entrar em bola dividida.
Além do desgaste com o Executivo, passar os próximos dias evitando discutir a crise nos Transportes também é uma ideia que agrada ao PR. Desgastado pelas demissões na pasta sobre a qual tem o comando, o partido sofreria ainda mais uma derrota se permitisse que integrantes do seu quadro fossem obrigados a prestar esclarecimentos em pleno recesso parlamentar. Na avaliação de um vice-líder da legenda, a convocação da Comissão Representativa para ouvir ex-servidores do Dnit abriria uma crise também entre os caciques do partidos e o comando do Congresso.
Tentativas
A decisão frusta as expectativas dos partidos oposicionistas, que faziam planos de continuar repercutindo as denúncias de corrupção no Ministério dos Transportes. A ideia do líder dos tucanos na Câmara, Duarte Nogueira (PSDB-SP), era aprovar ainda esta semana a convocação do ex-assessor do Dnit Frederico Augusto de Oliveira, conhecido como Fred, para responder à acusação de que cometeu crime de usurpação de função pública. O Correio denunciou que Fred, por indicação do deputado Valdemar Costa Neto (PR-SP), atuava como influente funcionário do órgão, sem ocupar qualquer cargo no governo.
Para Duarte Nogueira, a oposição precisa pressionar pela convocação e para que as denúncias não sejam esquecidas sob o argumento de que o comando do Ministério dos Transportes foi trocado. Para ele, é preciso lembrar sempre que o novo ministro da pasta, Paulo Sérgio Passos, estava no órgão como secretário-executivo quando as irregularidades foram cometidas e “não dá para acreditar que ele não sabia de nada”. Esta semana, os tucanos farão mais uma tentativa de dar fôlego à crise, mas vão esbarrar na Comissão Representativa, onde apenas quatro dos 25 integrantes não fazem parte da base aliada.
Caráter urgente
A Comissão Representativa é composta de oito senadores e 17 deputados, com igual número de suplentes. Segundo o Regimento Interno do Congresso, o colegiado atua durante o período de recesso do parlamento e tem como principal função exercer atribuições de caráter urgente que não possam aguardar o início do período legislativo seguinte sem causar prejuízos para o país ou para suas instituições. A atual composição da comissão possui apenas três integrantes dos partidos da oposição.

Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
