O portal argentino INFOBAE inclui o presidente do Senado, José Sarney, como um dos octogenários mais influentes do mundo em lista onde estão personalidades como o papa Bento XVI, a rainha Elizabeth II, Henri Kissinger e George Soros.
Além Sarney, outros dois brasileiros são citados: o arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer, que tem mais de 100 anos, e o ex-presidente Fernando Henrique Cardoso, com oitenta completados recentemente. Eclética, a lista inclui personagens da política, negócios, arte e cultura, abrindo espaço para o investidor Warren Buffet, segunda maior fortuna dos Estados Unidos, os escritores Gabriel Garcia Márquez e Carlos Fuentes, os artistas Clint Eastwood e Charles Aznavour. Corregedoria vai abrir processo disciplinar contra registradora da capital
A Corregedoria Geral da Justiça (CGJ) vai abrir Processo Administrativo Disciplinar (PAD) contra a registradora substituta do 1º Ofício de Registro Civil e de Casamento da capital, em razão de descumprir deveres funcionais. De acordo com parecer entregue ao corregedor Antonio Guerreiro Júnior, ela é acusada de desconhecer, desde 2006, pedidos de informações da CGJ sobre o pagamento de segunda via de certidão de casamento. A reclamante afirma ter pago adiantado o documento, contudo nunca o recebeu.
Relatório assinado pelo juiz auxiliar da CGJ José Nilo Ribeiro Filho – que opina pela abertura do PAD – descreve a denúncia em detalhes. A reclamante L. de N. O. narra ter depositado R$ 100,00 na conta da registradora, em 23 de agosto de 2006, em pagamento à segunda via da certidão. Um mês depois, e data da reclamação, o documento ainda não havia sido entregue.
Mesmo oficiada diversas vezes, só em agosto de 2010 – quatro anos mais tarde, portanto – a registradora informou ter enviado a certidão via Sedex. Apesar de novos contatos, a CGJ não conseguiu dela a comprovação da entrega. “A registradora […] permaneceu inerte após reiterada solicitação, sem qualquer justificativa a esta Corregedoria”, menciona o relatório.
Os incisos III e X do artigo 30 da Lei nº 8.935/1994 (Lei dos Cartórios) estabelecem como deveres de notários e oficiais de registro atender prioritariamente requisições de papéis, documentos, informações ou providências requeridas pelas autoridades judiciárias, “para a defesa das pessoas jurídicas de direito público em juízo” e “observar os prazos legais fixados para a prática dos atos do seu ofício”.
O Código de Divisão e Organização Judiciárias do Estado do Maranhão diz em seu artigo 126, parágrafo I, que nesses casos o corregedor-geral da Justiça e o presidente do Tribunal de Justiça podem aplicar penas de advertência, repreensão e suspensão até por noventa dias.
