OAB/MA protocola Ação contra aumento do IPTU
O presidente da OAB/MA, Mário Macieira, e o conselheiro Rodrigo Maia Rocha, protocolaram na tarde desta segunda-feira (23/05), no Tribunal de Justiça do Estado (TJ/MA), a Ação Direita de Inconstitucionalidade (ADI) contra o aumento da cobrança do Imposto Predial e Territorial Urbano (IPTU) 2011 de São Luís. A Seccional da OAB no Maranhão ingressou com o pedido de liminar para que seja suspensa a eficácia da norma e, consequentemente, a cobrança do IPTU, cujo prazo de vencimento é na próxima segunda-feira (30/05). “Postulamos a liminar para que seja suspensa a cobrança. Com base nos valores fornecidos a nós, pela própria Prefeitura, constatamos uma exacerbação excessiva de valores e o Conselho da Ordem aprovou a ADI contra a ilegalidade da ação”, declarou o relator Rodrigo Maia. A expectativa da Ordem é que a matéria seja apreciada na sessão do Tribunal Pleno do TJ/MA, da próxima quarta-feira (25/05).

Depois do deputado Roberto Costa (PMDB) ingressar na Justiça contra o aumento abusivo do aumento do IPTU, ele utilizou a tribuna da AL hoje (23), para comunicar que a Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) protocolou, também, no TJ uma ADIN (Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade, contra o aumento da cobrança de Imposto Predial e Territorial Urbano (IPTU) 2011 de São Luís.

O deputado Raimundo Cutrim (DEM) denunciou o prefeito João Castelo (PSDB), seus secretários de Fazenda, Mário Bittencourt, e o de Urbanismo e Habitação, Domingos Brito, por falsidade ideológica e formação de quadrilha. O parlamentar deu entrada nesta segunda-feira 23/05/11 à Delegacia Geral de Polícia Civil solicitando a abertura de inquérito para investigar o caso que servirá de base para um processo judicial. Segundo Cutrim, o processo terá como base as declarações da Associação Comercial do Maranhão (ACM) e de outras entidades de classe que expressaram, publicamente, que jamais participaram de reuniões com a prefeitura, para alterar a Planta Genérica de Valores, que levou ao aumento do Imposto Predial e Territorial Urbano (IPTU) em até 8.5000%. O parlamentar afirmou que decidiu denunciar o prefeito por causa da demora da OAB-MA e do Ministério Público em acionar a Justiça.
TRT-MA determina bloqueio de R$ 50 mil em conta bancária do Sindicato dos Rodoviários
O desembargador José Evandro de Souza, do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho do Maranhão (TRT-MA), determinou, nesta segunda-feira (23), o bloqueio, em 24 horas, de R$ 50 mil em conta bancária do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Transportes Rodoviários no Estado do Maranhão. O bloqueio é decorrente do descumprimento da decisão liminar concedida na última sexta-feira (20). Na liminar, o desembargador José Evandro havia determinado ao sindicato dos rodoviários, que, em caso de greve, prevista para hoje (23), fosse mantida a circulação de, no mínimo, 80% da frota de ônibus no município. Para o desembargador, a falta de cumprimento da liminar, confirmada pela Secretaria Municipal de Trânsito e Transporte, nesta data, por meio do Ofício nº 0681/2011-GS, e também pelos periódicos que circulam em São Luís, caracterizou o crime de desobediência e o fato gerador da multa estabelecida.
Já em Itapecuru-Mirim foi apreendido combustível
Após receber informações anônimas do Disque Denúncia (0300 323 5800), o delegado Jalingson Freire, titular do 1º DP, da 2ª Regional de Itapecuru-Mirim, juntamente com sua equipe, cumprindo mandado de busca e apreensão, conseguiu apreender, no Povoado Entroncamento, em Itapecuru Mirim, vários galões de combustível que estavam sendo vendidos de forma ilegal. O combustível era comercializado na residência de um homem conhecido por Jair. No local, os investigadores apreenderam seis galões de combustíveis (óleo diesel e gasolina), além de diversos galões vazios. De acordo com o delegado Jalingson, a denúncia dava conta de que o comércio no local ocorria há mais de cinco anos. No momento da ação policial, Jair não foi encontrado na residência. O delegado informou que já instaurou inquérito policial para apurar a prática criminosa e identificar todos os envolvidos.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
