Hoje (18), por acaso me encontrei com o líder do governo Castelo, vereador José Joaquim, numa agência do Banco do Brasil. Ele disse-me que já pediu diversas vezes ao secretário de Urbanismo que revolvesse esse problema, principalmente o da Camboa, e que nada foi resolvido. Ele anotou todos os lugares em que vi animais pastando e disse que irá cobrar do secretário maior empenho. Só uma pergunta: O governo João Castelo não tem uma Central de Zoonoses vinculada a Secretaria de Saúde Municipal?
Como já virou costume, antes de me encontrar com o vereador José Joaquim, estava passando na Avenida Ana Jansen, exatamente em frente à Lagoa da Jansen – um dos cartões postais de São Luís -, imagina com que me deparei? Um quadrúpede pastando no canteiro central da Avenida.
Pensei que aquela seria a última cena de animais pastando pela cidade hoje. Quebrei a cara!!! Ao retornar para casa, Planalto do Vinhais II, exatamente da via que dá acesso ao Alto do Calhau, vi um congestionamento daqueles!!! Pensei: “Mas como? Se esse horário 16h ainda não é o de pico? Não deu outra!!! Era uma manada de vagas a procura de melhores capins para degustar!!!
Na verdade, São Luís virou a sala de visita dos quadrúpedes, que degustam os capins que crescem nos canteiros das principais avenidas e ruas de São Luís.
O certo é que nós ludovicenses já estamos nos acostumando com esses “turistas”, pois eles freqüentam mais esses locais, que a própria população.
Sugiro ao prefeito João Castelo, que plante nos canteiros centrais um capim de boa qualidade, para que o gado engorde, além de colocar cochos com água a cada duzentos metros.
João Castelo tem que saber que o manejo inadequado das pastagens traz conseqüências desastrosas à economia. Verifica-se redução progressiva na capacidade produtiva, até a plena degradação, levando à necessidade de recuperação, visto que o ciclo da pobreza dos pastos atinge a economia da atividade, afetando, também, solo, água, gado, além de impactos ao meio ambiente.
É preciso saber, senhor Prefeito João Castelo, que a má formação das pastagens, capins não adaptados às condições locais, afeta a reposição de nutrientes em nossos animais, falta de controle das invasoras e manejo inadequado das pastagens, são fatores que abreviam a degradação das pastagens. Com isso, mande seu secretário de Agricultura tomar as providências cabíveis.
Ah!!! Já ia esquecendo!!! Sugiro, também, que o senhor invista na criação de bode, pois como animal rústico, ele se adapta a qualquer tipo de alimentação, até lixo, que anda tomando conta da cidade.

Você não tem idéia do quanto a rede municipal de educação regrediu e a culpa não é dos milhões que a Branca pegou de volta.
