Ele relatou na tribuna que o delegado, que dá expediente apenas alguns dias da semana, utiliza indevidamente a viatura da Delegacia de Montes Altos. “Quando retorna para Imperatriz, o delegado leva a viatura daqui para lá. Essa viatura tem que ficar em nossa cidade, pois quem faz a segurança preventiva é a Polícia Militar”, observa.
O parlamentar assinala que a ausência da viatura inviabiliza os militares de atender diversas ocorrências, pois vinha sendo utilizada na segurança preventiva da comunidade montealtense. “Qual a utilidade dessa viatura, simplesmente quando o delegado estiverem Montes Altos?”, questionou.
O presidente da Câmara de Vereadores de Montes Altos, Cirilo Neres Cardoso (PTB) afirmou que encaminhará ofício ao delegado Leonardo Carvalho solicitando-lhe explicações sobre a utilização da viatura que ao invés de ficar na cidade acaba ficando mais tempo em Imperatriz. “Vamos tomar providências, pois comunicaremos o fato ao delegado-geral da Polícia Civil, Norman Ribeiro; ao secretário de Estado da Segurança Pública, Aluísio Mendes, e a governadora Roseana Sarney”, disse.
“Essa viatura pertence à jurisdição de Montes Altos; o povo necessita de segurança pública e não iremos aceitar que o delegado leve a viatura para Imperatriz, deixando a cidade desprovida”, afirmou ele, que também recebeu apoio do vereador Aldefran Barbosa que denuncia a falta de ação no combate ao tráfico de drogas e boca-de-fumo na cidade de Montes Altos.
