O prefeito de Grajaú (MA), Marcial Lima de Arruda, e o acadêmico Salvio Dino, da Academia de Letras do Maranhão, entregaram hoje (24.02) ao presidente Sarney convite para a abertura da festa comemorativa do bicentenário do município, no dia 11 de março. “Vamos comemorar os 200 anos de nossa cidade e acabamos de confirmar a presença do presidente Sarney na festividade”, revelou Arruda. O prefeito comentou que “na qualidade de imortal da Academia Brasileira de Letras e também de um homem publico de alto nível” o senador será “o ponto alto do nosso bicentenário”, comemorou.
O promotor Fernando Barreto faz esclarecimentos sobre o lixão que proliferam urubus no aeroporto Cunha Machado.

Sobre o aterro da Ribeira informo que movi ação civil pública em 1997, logo que ele apresentou os primeiros problemas como foco de atração de pássaros no cone de aproximação das aeronaves do aeroporto Marechal Cunha Machado. O aterro começou a funcionar plenamente em 2006 depois que o Lixão do Jaracaty foi interditado.
Na ação apontei vários problemas que aconteceram no licenciamento e a previsão do que aconteceria caso ele fosse mantido no mesmo lugar com a mesma concepção.
A ação foi julgada procedente em 2007 e a sentença foi confirmada pelo Tribunal de Justiça em 24/09/2009.
Após seu trânsito em julgado ela baixou à 4ª Vara da Fazenda Pública, onde promovi a execução e a Juíza determinou ao Município o cumprimento da sentença.
O município nada respondeu nos autos e, em dezembro, peticionei informando esse descumprimento.

É estranho como o prefeito de Coroatá, Luís da Amovelar, movimenta os recursos do município. Os salários dos servidores municipais estão atrasados. A cidade abandonada. Mas o prefeito arruma R$ 430 mil (recursos próprios) para promover o Carnaval da cidade, conforme Diário Oficial do Estado, do dia 21/02/2011, Terceiros, página 19. Convenhamos que o carnaval seja valorizar a cultura brasileira, porém não é mais importante para quem está com salários atrasados, não podendo, com isso, sustentar suas famílias.

A Seduc reunião com a direção do Sinproesemma, dando continuidade ao processo de discussão do novo Estatuto do Educador. Participaram da reunião o chefe da Casa Civil, Luís Fernando Silva, representando o Comitê de Política Salarial, a secretaria de Educação Olga Simão e os secretários adjuntos da Educação, Ivana Colvara e Fernando Silva. O Sinproesemma foi representando pelo presidente do Sindicato, Júlio Pinheiro, e demais representantes da diretoria. A secretária de Educação, Olga Simão, garantiu que, com a implantação do novo Estatuto, será consolidada a valorização do magistério e garantida a melhoria da qualidade do ensino. Luiz Fernando confirmou aos representantes dos professores a decisão do Governo de enviar ainda este mês à Assembléia Legislativa o novo Estatuto, com várias melhorias, que vão desde correção salarial, novo plano de cargos, carreiras e salários, formação continuada, progressão e promoção, dentre outras antigas reivindicações da categoria.
