Falar sobre racismo e preconceitos no Brasil é bastante difícil, mas necessário, principalmente depois das declarações do deputado Jair Bolsonaro (PP-RJ) e do Pastor deputado Marco Feliciano (PSC-SP). O primeiro passo para que a discussão possa acontecer, é assumirmos, que trazemos enraizados em nós mesmos: o racismo e os preconceitos.
Mesmo que digamos o contrário, não sou racista, não tenho preconceito, vamos perceber que infelizmente, não estamos livres de algum tipo de preconceito. Isto porque como já disse, está enraizado, faz parte do imaginário coletivo, está no nosso dia a dia e quase não nos damos conta disso.
Contudo, vale ressaltar que o racismo e os preconceitos estão enraizados, velados, disfarçados, mas sempre violentos, acontecem em nossa sociedade brasileira. Por outro lado, esquecem que somos todos mestiços, como pode haver racismo e preconceitos?
Quanto aos preconceitos com gays é algo estranho – só se o preconceituoso tem vontade de experimentar e ataca -, visto que a existência dos gays, não implica em ter de namorar eles ou beijá-los. Conviver não quer dizer fazer as mesmas coisas!!! Se não é a sua identidade sexual, natural, pois a homossexualidade, a heterossexualidade e a bissexualidade são apenas a identidade natural sexual das pessoas, significa apenas aceitar, que existem pessoas que gostam de pessoas do mesmo sexo e respeitar a necessidade delas de se relacionarem intimamente com pessoas do mesmo sexo. Isso não está prejudicando em nada quem não faz parte dessas opções sexuais.
Portanto, persegui-las ou excluí-las, apenas por terem a sexualidade diferente da heterossexualidade é algo desumano. É necessário se libertar desses preconceitos, que só geram mazelas, miséria, conflito, exclusão. Ninguém nasce preconceituoso, todos podemos nos livrar dos preconceitos ou tentar conviver pacificamente com eles.
Há uma espécie de preconceito espontâneo em relação a tudo que é diferente ou desconhecido. É preciso “des-preconceituar”, O preconceito pode ser motivado pelo medo.
Alguns preconceitos étnicos: “Todo cigano é ladrão.” “O judeu é perverso”. “Os índios em geral são improdutivos e preguiçosos”. “Todo negro é adepto de feitiçaria”. “Todo gay estimula os outros a praticar seus desejos sexuais”. Outros preconceitos: a mulher no volante e o velho vagaroso são ridicularizados e acabam excluídos. Há patrões que defendem: “A todo operário falta à inteligência”. O pobre que “nada tem” (não contribui financeiramente, não compra, não paga imposto) e “nada sabe”, é marginalizado na sociedade. Não vendo a sua participação valorizada, ausenta-se. Em seguida, os pobres são acusados de apatia, preguiça, ingenuidade e de fuga nas festas. Finalmente lembramos aqui os preconceitos moralistas contra o corpo nu, contra a dança, a umbigada. E o preconceito contra a magia.
Como se ver, existe preconceito para tudo. O ser humano é, na verdade, movido aos conceitos e preconceitos.
